The above feeding schedule should be used as a guide only. You should look for signals from your plant as to whether more or less feed is required. Environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity should also be taken into consideration.
Canna Coco Professional Plus growing media has no nutrients in it. Before planting into the coco, water it with a nutrient solution containing 20-30ml per 10L of Canna Coco A&B with 40ml per 10L of Canna Rhizotonic. Ensure you get some runoff, around 5-10%. This will pre-soak the Coco to enable good establishment.
Your nutrient solution pH should be between 5.5 and 6.5. 5.8 - the ideal is 6.2. Make sure you check your pH after adding your nutrients and additives and adjust if necessary.
When watering coco it’s important to get run-off. Around 20-30% is ideal. Do not let this run-off get sucked back up into the pots.
