Ecothrive Trace – Organic Micronutrients
Without the required trace minerals, your plants will never reach their full potential. Fortunately Ecothrive Trace covers all of your bases with minimal fuss, ensuring that plants receive the complete spectrum of micronutrients.
These micronutrients are very often overlooked, but in reality they are vital for plant growth, playing essential roles in enzymatic functions, photosynthesis, and other biochemical processes.
- A source of iron, manganese, zinc, copper, boron and molybdenum
- Used as a root feed or as a foliar feed (for fast acting treatment)
- Supports optimal growth and development
- Works brilliantly alongside almost any nutrient range
- Compatible with every type of growing medium: soil, coco and hydro
- Formulated with organic ingredients
Liebig's Law of the Minimum
According to Liebig's Law of the Minimum, plant growth is limited by the nutrient in shortest supply relative to the plant's needs, regardless of the abundance of other nutrients. To put it more simply: your plants will always be held back by the nutrient that they are most deficient in. Less than optimal levels of even a single micronutrient, such as iron, zinc, or boron, can constrain a plant's development and productivity.
The Roles of Each Micronutrient
Boron
Boron supports cell wall formation and division. It’s vital for developing seeds and fruits while managing carbohydrate use in plants. Without boron, growth stalls, tissues die, and fruits and seeds fail to thrive.
Copper
Copper powers photosynthesis, respiration, and nitrogen metabolism while strengthening plant cell walls with lignin. It’s crucial for pollen production and flower formation. Deficiencies cause curled leaf tips, weak flowering, and stunted growth.
Manganese
Manganese drives essential plant processes like photosynthesis and nitrogen use while boosting disease resistance. Plants lacking manganese show yellowing leaves, slow growth, and a higher risk of disease.
Zinc
Zinc fuels growth hormones like auxins and supports enzyme activity for DNA and RNA function. Deficient plants develop stunted roots, tiny, deformed leaves, and shorter stems between leaves.
Iron
Iron keeps plants green and productive by aiding chlorophyll production and energy creation. Without enough iron, leaves turn yellow or white, cutting into yield and overall plant health.
Molybdenum
Molybdenum makes nitrogen usable by converting nitrate into ammonium and helps plants form nodules and absorb phosphorus. Signs of deficiency include scorched, yellowing leaves, poor growth, and inefficient nutrient use.
Why Use Ecothrive Trace?
Ecothrive Trace is a quick and easy way to cover your bases in terms of micronutrients. Whether you’re growing in soil, coco, or hydroponics, Trace integrates effortlessly into your feeding routine, complementing your existing nutrient regimen. The result is stronger, more resilient plants that are better equipped to produce abundant, high-quality yields.
Trace Contains: iron (0.6%), manganese (0.6%), copper (0.04%), zinc (0.1%), boron (0.1%), molybdenum (0.01%), lignosulfonic acid.
How to Use Ecothrive Trace
For optimal results, Ecothrive Trace can be used as a root feed across all growth stages, offering versatile support for a variety of growing methods.
Living soil and organic potting mix growers can apply Trace at a rate of 0.25ml - 0.5ml per litre of water during both the vegetative and flowering stages, with every watering, continuing up to 1 - 2 weeks before harvest.
During propagation, Trace is ideal for supplementing dilute nutrient solutions: add at a low dose of 0.25ml per litre of water with each watering.
For those using hydroponics and coco coir, it's important to note that full-strength mineral nutrient solutions typically provide adequate trace elements. However, Trace is ideal for supplementing micronutrient levels in quarter- and half-strength nutrient solutions.
For half-strength base nutrients, add 0.25ml per litre of water, and for three-quarter-strength solutions, use 0.125ml per litre of water. Always add Trace after mixing your base nutrients to ensure even distribution and effectiveness.
For best results, use with Ecothrive Neutralise.
