Plagron Hydro Nutrients
Hydro A&B is a highly concentrated mineral basic plant nutrition for use during the plant’s growth and flowering phase. It contains all trace elements in a quickly absorbable (chelated) form. Hydro A is rich in calcium which helps the plant against heat stress. Hydro B contains magnesium which enhances the production of chlorophyll, making it an indispensable building material enabling the plant to grow. Hydro A&B complement each other resulting in a complete combination of nutrients. Hydro A&B can be used on all types of inert substrates.
- Complete control over the EC and pH values.
- Highly concentrated, so economical in use.
- No crystallisation in nutrient tank.
How to use Plagron Hydro Nutrients
Shake well before use. Add a maximum of 2.5 ml Hydro A per 1 litre of water (1:400). With every application of Hydro A use the same quantity of Hydro B. Use this solution each time the plants are irrigated.

FAQ's
Should I regulate the pH and EC value if I grow with Hydro A&B?
Yes, you should regulate the pH value and EC values when growing with 100% HYDRO. Hydro A&B already adjust these values in your nutrient solution. However, tap water doesn’t have the same pH and EC value everywhere. We recommend a pH value between 5.5 and 6.5. You can adjust this with pH Plus or pH Min. The correct EC value differs for each plant species and its growth or bloom phase. Use our 100% HYDRO Grow Schedule to find out which EC value best fits your plant.
How long can I store Hydro A&B after it has been mixed with water?
Hydro A&B can be stored for four days after they have been mixed with water. Do monitor the pH value, as this will probably start to slowly increase. Make sure that no organic products have been mixed into the solution, as they can start to spoil after just 48 hours. Also ensure the solution is kept moving (circulation pump) and that the tank is clean before you mix the solution.
