Plagron Cocos Brix

Cocos Brix makes the ideal substrate for growers who prefer to use a pure and natural product. Cocos Brix has been treated with calcium and flushed with clean water afterwards, therefore creating a very stable substrate which does not contain any fertilisers. It is particularly suitable for fast growing plants. Furthermore, Cocos Brix have a high water retention capacity so you can give less water. Cocos Brix meets the most stringent quality standards and is awarded the RHP Certificate for Consumers. It can be re-used as a soil improver. Cocos Brix produces the highest yields in combination with Plagron Cocos A&B and the additives from Plagron.

FAQ's

How much water should I add per Cocos Brix?

We advise adding 4 litres of water per Cocos Brix. This creates 7 litres of coconut substrate.

Is soaked Cocos Brix the same quality as Cocos Premium

Yes, the quality is identical.

How often can I use Cocos Brix?

Depending on your tap water quality, the pH buffer in our Cocos Brix will be used up quicker or slower. Cocos Brix can be used for growing for six months at least without any problems.

How do I know if I can re-use my Cocos Brix?

After a bad harvest, you should take into account that part of the nutrition dosed has not been absorbed by the plants. This means that the substrate cannot be re-used. It is best to change the Cocos Brix in any case after six months.
