How to Set Up the Hailea Air Pump Kit
- Place the air pump on a flat, stable surface close to your reservoir or system.
- Where possible, position the pump above the water level to reduce the risk of back siphoning.
- Connect the airline tubing to the pump outlet or outlets, pushing it firmly over the ridged nozzles.
- If the airline is tight, soften the end in warm water to make fitting easier.
- Fit the airstones to the other end of the airline tubing.
- Place the airstones into your reservoir, DWC bucket or system container.
- Fit the supplied check valves into the airline tubing, making sure they face the correct direction for airflow.
- Keep airline runs as short and tidy as possible to help maintain pressure.
- Plug in the pump and use the airflow control to set the output you need.
- Check that each airstone is bubbling evenly and adjust positioning where needed.

Top Tip
Always use the supplied check valves and keep the pump above the water line wherever possible. This helps reduce the risk of nutrient solution travelling back through the airline and into the pump if the power is switched off.
