Complete Drying Tent Kit – A Dedicated Space for a Cleaner, More Controlled Dry
Still using your main grow tent for drying?
A Complete Drying Tent Kit gives harvested plant material its own dedicated space, with the airflow, odour filtration, environmental monitoring and drying rack already taken care of.
Instead of leaving your main growing area out of action, you can move finished material into the drying tent, clean down your main setup and get ready for the next cycle.
Each kit combines a BAY6 tent, Mammoth extraction, carbon filtration, temperature and humidity monitoring and a multi-tier drying net, giving you everything you need to put together a proper indoor drying setup without sourcing every component separately.

Reusable after every harvest; set it up once and you've got a dedicated drying area ready whenever you need it.
Why Use a Separate Drying Tent?
Drying in your main grow tent works, but it means that tent can't be used for anything else until the process is finished.
A dedicated drying tent kit separates the two jobs.
Your harvested material gets its own enclosed space where airflow, temperature and humidity can be monitored, while your main growing area can be cleaned and prepared for the next cycle.
It also gives you far more control than simply hanging plant material in an open room. The extraction system continuously replaces humid air, the carbon filter helps manage odour and the included monitor lets you keep an eye on changing conditions.
What Each Part of the Kit Does
BAY6 Grow Tent
Creates an enclosed drying area away from your main growing space. Ventilation ports make it straightforward to install the extraction system and route ducting.
Mammoth TT Twin-Speed Inline Fan
Provides controlled air exchange, helping remove moisture released by drying plant material and replace stale air inside the tent.
Mammoth Carbon Filter
Filters extracted air to help control noticeable plant odours before they're released into the surrounding space.
Digital Temperature & Humidity Meter
Shows you what's actually happening inside the drying tent, making it easier to spot changes in temperature or relative humidity.
Multi-Tier Drying Net
Provides several ventilated drying levels while using very little floor space.
Fast Clamp & Ducting
Connects the extraction system together and gives you a straightforward route for exhausting filtered air.
6" Circulation Fan – Larger Kit
Adds gentle internal air movement throughout the larger drying space.

Airflow Matters – But More Isn't Always Better
The purpose of a drying tent isn't to blast plant material with as much air as possible.
You want enough air exchange to remove moisture and prevent the inside of the tent becoming stagnant, while still allowing the material to dry progressively.
The Mammoth TT fan gives you two extraction speeds, so you've got some flexibility when conditions change.
If you're using the circulation fan supplied with the larger kit, position it to move air around the tent rather than aiming it continuously at the material on the drying net.
Monitor the Environment Inside the Tent
The environment inside a loaded drying tent can be very different from the room around it.
As fresh plant material loses moisture, that water enters the surrounding air and can push humidity upwards. That's why a hygrometer is an essential part of a proper drying setup.
The included digital temperature and humidity meter lets you track conditions inside the tent and make changes to extraction or the surrounding room when required.
Don't guess from the weather or the temperature elsewhere in the building. Measure the space you're actually drying in.
Drying Tent with Carbon Filter Included
One advantage of buying a complete kit rather than simply adding a drying rack to an empty tent is that odour control is already built into the extraction system.
The Mammoth carbon filter works with the inline fan to filter outgoing air as it's drawn from the tent.
It's the same principle used in a grow-room extraction system: contaminated air is pulled through activated carbon before being exhausted from the space.
The fan and filter are supplied as part of the matched kit, taking the guesswork out of pairing the two together.
Which Drying Tent Kit Should You Choose?
0.75m x 0.75m x 1.6m
Choose the smaller kit if floor space is limited or you only need a compact dedicated drying area. You still get the tent, drying net, extraction, carbon filtration and environmental monitoring without taking up much room.
1m x 1m x 2m
The larger kit gives you more drying space and also includes a 6" circulation fan. We'd choose this one if you regularly have more plant material to deal with or simply want more room between the different levels of the drying net.
Whichever size you choose, don't overload the rack. Leaving room for air to move around the material is more useful than trying to fill every available centimetre.
How to Set Up Your Drying Tent Kit
-
Build the tent: Position the BAY6 somewhere with reasonably stable surrounding conditions and enough space to route your exhaust ducting.
-
Install the carbon filter: Secure it in the extraction setup before connecting the fan.
-
Connect the Mammoth TT fan: Join the fan and filter using the supplied Fast Clamp and connect the ducting.
-
Route the exhaust: Direct filtered air away from the tent so you're not simply recirculating it straight back into the intake.
-
Hang the drying net: Suspend it securely from the tent frame and make sure the different levels sit correctly.
-
Position the hygrometer: Place the temperature and humidity meter where it can give you a representative reading of the drying environment.
-
Add the circulation fan if supplied: Create gentle movement around the space rather than pointing the fan directly at the drying material.
-
Load the drying net: Spread material out and avoid tightly packing the individual levels.
-
Start extraction: Select the appropriate fan speed and regularly check temperature and humidity as the material begins releasing moisture.
Our Thoughts?
If you're already growing indoors, a separate drying tent is one of those additions that makes much more sense once you've used one.
The biggest benefit is simple: your main grow tent doesn't have to sit empty while you're drying.
But it's also much easier to manage. You've got a defined drying space, extraction removing humid air, a carbon filter controlling odour and a hygrometer telling you what the environment is actually doing.
You could buy all of those components separately, but there's not much advantage in doing that when the kit has already matched the important parts together for you.
Complete Drying Tent Kit FAQs
What is a drying tent kit?
A drying tent kit combines an enclosed tent with the equipment needed to create a dedicated indoor drying space. This kit includes extraction, carbon filtration, temperature and humidity monitoring and a multi-tier drying net.
Can you use a grow tent as a drying tent?
Yes. An enclosed grow tent works very well as a dedicated drying space when it's paired with suitable extraction, monitoring and somewhere to hang or lay out the material. This kit brings those components together for you.
Does a drying tent need an extraction fan?
Controlled air exchange helps remove moisture released during drying and prevents humid air from simply sitting inside the enclosed space. The included Mammoth TT fan provides two available extraction speeds.
Why use a carbon filter when drying?
Freshly harvested plant material can produce strong odours. A carbon filter helps clean the extracted air before it leaves the drying tent.
Does this kit include a hygrometer?
Yes. A digital temperature and humidity meter is included so you can monitor conditions inside the drying space.
Does the kit include a drying rack?
Yes. A multi-tier mesh drying net is included, giving you several ventilated levels while making efficient use of the tent's height.
Which size drying tent should I buy?
The 0.75m x 0.75m version is ideal when space is limited or you need a smaller dedicated drying area. The 1m x 1m version provides greater capacity and also includes additional internal circulation.

Top Tip
Don't point a fan directly at the material you're drying. The aim is to keep air exchanging and gently moving around the tent, not force one part of the load to dry faster than another. Use the extraction system to remove humid air, keep your drying net reasonably spaced out and watch the hygrometer throughout the process.
