Our pH adjustment solutions are specially prepared for use in hydroponics. They are extremely concentrated and care should be taken when in use. Our pH Down is 81% phosphoric acid and pH Up is 24% potassium hydroxide. Keep away from children.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We cannot send/supply pH Up and pH Down to any UK offshore destination including Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Islands (Western Isles, Orkney, Shetland, etc) Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Channel Isles. This is due to the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code.
Is this type of PH down suitable for using when growing in coco fibre?
The Hydroponic pH up & down is suitable for both hydroponic & coco systems.
can i use ph lifter in soil,i have leeks planted in containers and the ph has dropped in some,they are pot leeks for showing and i am concerned as i will not get to maximum size if the ph is not right,
We would not recommend using pH up or down in soil, as it will destroy any beneficials in the soil, the soil also acts as a natural pH buffer.
