Athena Balance is a straightforward formula comprising concentrated potassium silicate, designed to serve as a buffer for irrigation water and stabilize it at the ideal pH level. In addition, the inclusion of silicon provides numerous benefits to plant growth, including enhanced stem structure, stress reduction, improved water usage through osmoregulation, and optimized nutrient utilization.

Commercial growers, particularly those utilizing reverse osmosis (RO) water, have reported better outcomes by incorporating Athena Balance as their initial buffer. This is because pure RO water possesses an unstable chemical structure that can potentially trap other nutrients when added without a buffer. By introducing Athena Balance, the water becomes more uniform, creating a harmonious fertilizer solution and reducing the need for pH adjustments after mixing. 

The formula is free of sediment, ensuring a clean and trouble-free experience. It is compatible with mechanical dosing systems such as Dosatron. However, it is not recommended for use with electronic dosing systems like Netafim.
