SKU# G71

A good one-part nutrient with an additional Boost component. Ionic gets our recommendation for yield and ease of use. For best results buy Ionic Grow, Bloom & Boost. Use Ionic Grow during the growth phase and then for the flowering/fruiting phase switch to Ionic Bloom adding in Ionic Boost as well halfway through flowering/fruiting. 1 Litre of Ionic makes 150 litres of full strength nutrient. Hard water (HW) and soft water (SW) formulations available. Ionic Boost is a universal formulation for hard and soft water.

I have been using ionic feeds for a number of years, It annoyingly seems to produce a large amount of crystal deposits which are hard to remove. can you recommend an alternative that doesn't react this way

Written by GG | 6 Sep 2011

This is a common issue with 1 part feeds, we would recommend using a 2 part feed such as Vita Link Max instead, as this will be less of an issue.
CAN THIS BE USED FOR SOIL OR WHAT WOULD YOU AT GROWELL SAY IS THE BEST FOR SOIL AND WILMA GROWING NICE-ONE CHRIS

Written by CH | 5 Aug 2011

You would get a result in soil with Ionic Grow & Bloom, but it is primarily designed for hydroponics. If you are hand watering, I would recommend Bio Bizz Grow, Bloom, & Topmax, however, if you are using a system such as a Wilma, you would be best off using Vita Link Earth, or Canna Terra Vega & Flores, as these are mineral based feeds that will not block the drip lines or pump.
How do I know if I need hard or soft water nutrient formulation?

Written by EH | 24 May 2011

The easiest way to tell is is to have a look inside your kettle. If there is a lot of limescale buildup around the element, you will need hard water nutrients.
