To get the best from this kit you will need a minimum area of 80cm x 120cm - however by growing your plants larger this could easily cover an area of 90cm x 120cm.

would it be possible to purchase this kit but with a 600w light instead?

Besides a tent, is there anything else you would recommend with this kit for a first time grower? Will this cover everything I need from seed to harvest?

We would recommend using an Extraction/Filtration Kit with the NFT 400 Hobby Plus Kit, extraction/filtration kit 1 will work well with a 400W lighting system.

Does this kit come with a carbon filter/scrubber?

The NFT 400 Hobby Kit is not supplied with an extraction system. We would recommend using Extraction Kit 1 with this setup.

Does the nft 400 come with a tent?

The Hobby Plus Kit NFT400 does not come with a tent. You would need an XL Budbox for the 424 system, you could accomodate 2 424 tanks in this tent.
