hi what size or watt would u need for a 50ltr res and are they kept on 24/7

We would recommend using a 50 Watt heater for this tank, it should be kept on 24/7, it is cintrolled by a thermostat which will regulate the temperature.

what is the optimum temperature for a nutrient tank.thank you

The best temperature to keep your nutrient solution is 20-21C. It is also advisable to use an airstone to keep the solution aerated.
