I had a nasty infestation on my crop. I'm growing in canna pro plus soil. I've been trying to get rid of these gnats by using sprays and other methods but every day these pests just kept multiplying. after speaking to the guys at growell they told me gnats don't eat the plant itself they lay eggs in the soil and they eat the roots and by using gnat off along with the yellow sticky fly traps my problem should be cured Within 10 days as the gnat off kills eggs in the soil n any adult gnats flying around won't go near the soil n will be attracted to the yellow of the fly traps. I am only 5 days into the treatment ( given 2 treatments of just gnat off, no Nutes) and the little buggers all seem to have gone, the amount caught on the sticky traps is quite unbelievable. Growell is the way forward the guys really do appreciate your custom and take time to offer excellent advise unlike any other hydroponic shop I been to before who seem to be just after your money. Superb product superb service! You got a customer for life!

Having lost a rather precious crop to these nasty bugs in a hydro system during the summer months , I used `GNAT OFF` to treat an out break in a soil based crop , still to little effect , resulting in a need to crop prematurely ! At present I have a small crop , using Canna organic soil and nutrients , which is at a new premises, and have paid a lot of attention re temp, humidity etc. I also have used this product from the beginning , yet still the gnats are back ! This is my experience !

is gnat off safe to use on young seedlings 2 weeks old as a preventative measure.if not how old should young plants be before using gnat off.look forward to your answer.cheers.

Fungus Gnat Off is safe to use as long as the cuttings or seedlings are rooted, we would not recommend using it until the root system is developed.

can i use this when flushing

You can use this whilst flushing at 5ml per litre, but we would not recommend use in the last 5 days.
