Overview: An Extraction/Filtration System will always be essential for filtering away unpleasant aromas from your grow room – however the odd whiff does inevitably escape every now and again. You should therefore consider placing a Corona Plug-in Ozone Generator anywhere that leaks are likely to occur. Best described as delivering the “thunder storm effect”, the generator cleans air in exactly the same way as lightening – only using electricity from your mains power supply.

The purification process sees the Ozone Generator continuously draw up air, which passes through an electrical charge, before then being released as oxygen enriched ozone (O3). Air now has three oxygen molecules instead of two, with the extra molecule of oxygen able to latch onto other gases – including those responsible for bad smells. When it happens, the extra oxygen and unwanted gas are both destroyed to leave nothing but fresh air. This reaction is hidden from view and takes just minutes!

Am I correct in thinking that I would also need to extract the ozone generator from the separate room it is in

The best way to use the plug in ozone generator is to plug it in outside the grow room, it will take care of any smells that escape into the room, we would recommend using it in conjuction with an extraction system.
