Knowing you’re busy and keen to find a full, ready-to-go extraction setup, we’ve partnered up the 4 available high pressure fans with matching CarboAir 50 Carbon Filters – proven to offer excellent air filtration capabilities – as well as quality ducting and secure duct clips.   

Fans that employ older tech (AC) use the same power regardless of the speed setting selected on a traditional resistance based controller. With EC Fans – including all of those in the Mammoth S-Max Pro range – if you don’t need to run one at full pelt, you can reduce the speed and consequentially reduce the power consumed via a suitable controller. This perk of EC equipment means that a 10% speed reduction roughly equates to 10% less power used, a 20% speed reduction roughly equates to 20% less power used, and so on. Massive savings are up for grabs then, to a point where a fan will soon pay for itself!

purchase of a separate device. Reassuringly, each fan is also covered by a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty. 

Using the items supplied in your kit, here’s how to configure an extraction system:

Carbon Filter > Duct Clip > Ducting (short) > Duct Clip > Extractor Fan > Duct Clip > Ducting

Plug in and turn on your fan prior to system assembly to check that the product works. We recommend initially arranging and attaching kit items on the floor, hanging up as one whole unit afterwards with chain or, for maximum convenience, Rope Ratchets (both supplied separately). Ensure that the arrow on the fan points in the opposite direction to the carbon filter – this indicates the direction of air flow (you want air to suck through the filter, not blow into it).

Tip: if you’re having trouble fitting ducting to either your fan or filter, you can use tape to hold it in place whilst you secure the duct clip.
