Want maximum and consistent yields all year round? Get an OptiClimate 3500 Split Air Conditioning System.

You can create and maintain the ideal temperature, humidity and CO2 level for optimum growth.

You can synchronise it with CO2 equipment and up to 6 x 600W lights or 9 x 400W lights via a Dimlux Maxi Controller.

It’s easy to use, with separate settings for night and day. To prevent bud rot (botrytis) and shock, plants are slowly eased into each mode.

Your OptiClimate can quickly and automatically detect and respond to environmental changes.

Your system will help keep pests out, and keep CO2 in (efficient!) – very little air is exchanged.

Unlike the OptiClimate Water Cooled System, the split system doesn’t use water! It’s the only option if your water’s at a premium.

• Designed for a room with up to 6 x 600W lights or 9 x 400W lights
• All-in-one: cools, heats, dehumidifies and filters and circulates air
• Split system: Indoor and outdoor units (can sit up to 15m apart)
 Doesn’t use water – economical
• Equipped with light sensor, humidistat and temperature probe
• Slow cool function: to ensure plants aren’t shocked
Pre-heat function: to prevent bud rot (botrytis)
Internal carbon filter to remove odours and mould
Day and night modes (mode switches when your lights go on or off)
• Auto-shutdown feature to protect against hazards
• Dual room operation – to cool up to two rooms at once (only cool)
• Low air extraction - reduces carbon dioxide waste
• Handy remote control included
• Runs on single phase household mains supply (3 phase variants available)
• Remarkably silent, very quiet when running
 Can be used in greenhouses
• Air circulation for even temperature

The split system contains an indoor unit and an outdoor unit, which you can fit up to 15 metres apart.

Get the very best yield all year round with an OptiClimate closed loop set up.

Your grow room will be almost completely sealed off, with little air extracted or drawn in. This means you keep hold of CO2, and keep pests and diseases out

You’ll have complete climate control so your plants are always growing in their ideal conditions.

Pre-heat to Prevent Bud Rot

Fruit cools down dramatically overnight.

Each morning, the air temperature rises more rapidly than that of the fruit.

This causes condensation to form on the fruit – which can lead to bud rot (botrytis).

Nip botrytis in the bud with your pre-heat function.

Your grow room will be heated to the day temperature for an hour before the lights in your grow room come on. This stops condensation (and therefore bud rot!) from taking hold.

Slow Cool to Prevent Shock

Sudden drops in temperature can shock your plants and stunt their growth.

To avoid this, simply activate your OptiClimate’s slow cool feature – the temperature of your grow room will gradually come down over an hour when your lights go off.

It’s easy to use and program.

You’ll get a handy controller to choose your ideal temperature and humidity and activate any optional settings.

Air is then constantly treated to ensure it matches these settings.

Three sensors take readings from your grow room – a humidistat, a temperature probe and a light sensor (all included). If a discrepancy is detected, your OptiClimate can respond.

Connect your Grow Lights!

You can connect it to your CO2 equipment and grow lights via a Dimlux Maxi Controller.

When your lights turn on, day mode is activated. Then your lights turn off, night mode is activated.

If your grow room gets too hot, your OptiClimate increases cooling activities and the Dimlux Maxi Controller will automatically switch lights off, and send you an optional SMS alert

• Fan

1. Mount the Fan

Mount the fan to the front or side of the indoor unit

IF the unit is to be placed in a narrow space or in the ridge of a gable:

-          Place fan outlet on the short side of the unit

-          You can do this by rotating panels so the fan is on the short side of the unit

2. Mount the Indoor Unit

Mount the unit on a slope

-          The side of the condensation drain should be 1cm lower than the other side

-          Use a spirit level for an accurate measurement

There must be a gap of at least 15cm between:

-          The wall and the rear of the unit

-          The top of the unit and the ceiling

The bigger the gap the better. The unit cannot make contact with the walls to minimise noises.

IF pendant mounting: Use the rubber mounts supplied with your OptiClimate.

IF mounting to the ground: Replace the rubber mounts with isolator springs to absorb vibration. The unit will automatically fall to the condensation drain

3. Electrical Connections

A humidistat, 5 core cable, remote terminal and temperature sensors are all included. They can be connected through an opening at the bottom of the panel.

The power supply is at the side, led by a black rubber grommet.

4. Alarm Output

On the PCB is an alarm output which makes contact with an alarm when an error has occurred.

At this contact a detector can be connected to alert an alarm system or SMS (GSM) (not supplied).

(See the full guide in the ‘Downloads’ tab)

5. Place the Outdoor Unit

Place the unit in a cool space (preferable under a shadow). Leave enough space around the unit so it has a proper supply of air.  Connect the outdoor unit to the indoor unit.
