These fantastic products deliver great results at approximately half the weight of a standard filter. The high-quality Australian-mined carbon successfully traps odours with ease thanks to its porous nature, and the thick 50mm filter bed ensures bad smells have maximum contact time to be absorbed and removed. Power is no problem for the aptly-named Mammoth range either! Plus there’s a wide choice of filter sizes to suit every type of grower.

Carbon contains pores that will catch odours as they pass through it. Rather than just masking bad smells, a carbon filter traps and neutralises them – meaning they're truly gone.

VOCs (volatile organic compounds) might stem from smoking or paint fumes within the home, from some pesticides, and from plant odours in your grow room.

Mammoth Carbon Filters have an open mesh exterior and a cyclone base for improved airflow. Their design maximises the amount of air travelling in, so that as much pure air as possible can come out.

All Mammoth Carbon Filters use RC 48 carbon – a pure, high quality, Australian-mined, virgin activated carbon. This type has some of the largest pores, so it can absorb a huge amount of odours and VOCs.

With an ash content of only 13%, it is also more efficient than many other forms of carbon. While the quality is impeccable, you'll keep long-term costs down.

On average, Mammoth Carbon Filters are half the weight of their competitors. This makes them easy to hang and assemble, and reduces the strain on ceilings and grow tents. The products can be transported easily if needed and make for a sleek, professional addition to any hydroponics setup.

When ready, unwrap the product and cover with the pre-filter sleeve (included). Make sure you’ve already installed the rest of your equipment – i.e. a fan is attached to your ducting (from the correct end) courtesy of a duct clip. Fix the carbon filter to the other end of the fan via a fast clamp, or separate them with a short length of ducting and duct clips. Hang as close to the top of your grow room as possible using the hanging straps (provided with models up to the 200mm).
