SHOGUN Geisha: How & Why you get a Bigger, Bulkier Yield (Q & A)
Have you tried SHOGUN Geisha yet? Anyone who has can tell you it works. But why does it work? How does it work? When should you use it?
The guys at SHOGUN reveal all in our latest Q & A session.
Just what growers want! So what’s in it?
All the good stuff! There’s boron and bio activators that improve hydration and rooting vigour.
Then there’s a potent natural metabolite, a mix of nutrients and organic acids.
This brilliant mix really activates your plant’s natural biochemical pathways. There’s nothing else like it.
Interesting. What sort of results do you get?
Geisha gets going almost instantly. Within a few minutes of being absorbed, it’ll start activating metabolic pathway, improving key processes.
Scientific studies just some of these include photosynthesis, water and nutrient uptake, and enzyme activity.
So how do you best apply it?
It strictly a foliar feed only! It comes ready to use, so you don’t have to mix, dilute or prep it in any way.
Just before or shortly after your lights have turned off, squeeze the trigger on the sprayer until all foliage is finely covered.
One 750ml sprayer is enough for 2 square meters of growing area.
Very easy then! And what products can you use it with?
You can use it with any brand of nutrients, but it works best when used with all the products in the SHOGUN suite.
When used with Sumo Boost, results are phenomenal! Use them together and you give plants the right ratio of really key nutrients, stimulate the reproductive phase and maximise flower potential.
Just remember, Shogun Geisha is a foliar feed. To give your plants all the nutrients they need, you must use it with a base feed.
When do you use it?
It can be used every 2 weeks throughout the entire vegetative and flowering cycles, starting from when your plants have established in their final pot or active hydro system.
Is there anything else you recommend?
Yes. When you spray your plants it’s important that the liquid penetrates through the surface of the leaf. To maximise absorption, turn off any circulation fans.
Like with any foliar feed, it’s also important that you don’t spray onto the foliage during the lights on period. You can spray a few minutes before lights go off, but spray any sooner than that, and the lights can evaporate the water. This can concentrate the ingredients in Geisha, which could lead to burning and foliar damage.
Thanks for the advice! We’ll make sure we share it with our growers. We’re already hearing good things about Geisha from our growers! No doubt it’ll sell as well as everything else in the SHOGUN range.
