SKU# G359

Sunmaster Lamps are becoming increasingly popular as more and more people continue to achieve impressive results by experimenting with them. This superior selection of full spectrum bulbs produce light from the blue spectrum in addition to the orange/red output of a normal sodium lamp, consequently promoting exceptional growth over the entire lifespan of your plants! Using just the one lamp from start to finish also cuts costs too!

banbury oxon.

i purchased a 250w sunmaster dual spectrum lamp on the 16/5/2011.it stopped working on the 23/5/2011.this has caused me a big problem as i have had to order another lamp(a 250w grolux lamp this time)as i know they are reliable and will do the job.my set up is all working well so i know that the problem lies with the lamp.iv had to go back to my old one while I'm waiting for the know one and that is working fine.i am disappointed that i have spent £19.95 on a lamp that only lasted a few days as i cant afford to keep replacing lamps that don't live up to the advertising in the catalog.i would not recommend this product.try the grolux lamps insted.

how far away should the 250watt light be from 3 week old seedlings in the 120X120X200cm tent with a fan

Written by MH | 9 Sep 2011

We would recommend that the light be 140cm above these plants, this can be reduced to approx 90cm as the plants become established, & further reduced to 60cm when the plants are mature.
Can this lamp be used with the lumatek "super lumens" switch?

Written by Chris | 29 Jul 2011

These lamps can be used with the Lumatek ballast, the super lumen swith will work with any HPS bulb, we would not recommend using the Super Lumen switch with a metal halide bulb.
Can I use a 600W bulb with a 400W ballast?

Written by SD | 26 May 2011

We would stongly advise against this, as wither the bulb or ballast will fail.
