Suspended from a super sturdy frame, the fully adjustable 2ft light can easily be raised and lowered via toggle cords as you pursue lamp heights that facilitate optimum growth. It uses a high output cool white tube designed with young plants in mind and sits over an area large enough to accommodate the most popular sizes of propagator. T5 lighting is the latest development in fluorescent technology that is revolutionising both the commercial strip lighting and now horticultural lighting world. As well as being cheaper to buy, cheaper to replace and cheaper to run than traditional fluorescent tubes, the T5 High Output (T5HO) versions of these lamps are ideal for propagating young plants. With a 24 Watt Output per lamp, these tubes are a lot higher output than the old Visi-Lux tubes and perform much better when it comes to rooting cuttings.

Propagation Lighting
When your plants are only just starting out, too much light and heat can stunt their growth. For this reason it is not practical to run High Intensity Discharge (HID) grow lamps during the propagation stage - instead you should be looking at fluorescent lighting technology. With output in the blue spectrum, Exolux Bright-Wing Lights, Lightwave Lights, T5HO Sunblaster Lights and Eco-Lights are all purposely designed to root cuttings and seedlings and then see them through early vegetative growth (up until plants reach the 60cm tall mark). Which light you choose to use mainly depends on the space available for propagation, but be rest assured that all of them have successfully completed comprehensive testing and come highly recommended.
