Prima Klima Temperature Controlled Extractor Fans

SKU# G470

By creating combining the key features of an extractor fan and a fan speed controller, Prima Klima has been able to develop these forward-thinking, super effective products for ventilating grow room. With minimum fuss and maximum success, PK Temperature Controlled Extractor Fans let you manage air exchange according to your selected idling speed and grow room temperature, only switching to full speed when suitable conditions need restoring (e.g. if it's too hot). Given that UK temperatures often range from one extreme to another, the need for a flexible fan is obvious. Offering convenience, quality and user-friendly controls, PK Temperature Controlled Extractor Fans provide the simplest means of managing temperatures in single light applications. However for multiple intake and outtake fans, we do still recommend using a KlimaVator or Fan Speed Voltage Controller.

I have just purchased a 125mm Prima Klima extractor fan with temperature control and here in lies the problem. I am a bit dense and can't seem to understand how to use it. OK, I set the temperature at 26c. I understand the fan will kick in when it reaches that temp. My question is, what speed do I set the fan at? If I have set the fan at 1/2 speed, when it reaches 26c, does it over-ride the setting and run at full speed? I am so confused! Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated, , can't write anymore since the pop up blocker is preventing me. Thank You
You would set the fan at the speed you are happy to have it running at when the temperature is below 26. When the temperature rises above this, the fan will kick in at full speed until the temperature has come down.

whats the noise level on full power compared to a equivalent systemair?
The Prima Klima temperature Controlled Extractor Fan would have a similar noise level to the RVK125A1 when on full power.

Can the Prima Klima Temp Controlled Extractor Fan be used as the extraction along with the RVK125 as an intake fan? Or will this put strain on the room if the Temp Controlled Extractor goes into low/high speed to cool/heat the room?
We would always recommend using a smaller intake fan than your out take fan, if you were using the PK Temperature controlled fan, we would advise you use an RVK100 fan as the intake.
