The Sunmaster Plus Digital Ballast is a digital grow light that finally delivers on its promises. With virtually no radio interference (a common problem for most digital ballasts) thanks to its integral RF shielded Ballast to reflector lead, silent running and a “bulb friendly” soft start mechanism, the Sunmaster Plus Ballast is an impressive piece of kit. Thanks to its soft start mechanism it can run your lamps at a higher rating and generate significantly more light by doing so. This does mean that your 600 Watt lamps will use approximately 700 Watts to achieve this extra light output, but your plants will tell you that the extra light is worth every penny!
Significantly the Sunmaster Plus is an intelligent ballast that monitors your lamp performance and compensates for lamp degradation ensuring that the light output from your lamp is consistent throughout its 9 month lifespan. With an IEC fitting this ballast is compatible with all of our IEC Reflectors although we recommend using Digital Diamond Reflectors (see related items right). All other IEC reflectors should have their non-shielded ballast to lampholder lead trimmed down as short as possible to minimise radio interference. 3 year warranty.
