The Advanced Timer Board is a professional timer & contactor system for turning on 24 x 600w lights. Design and build quality are the watchwords here. This system will turn on 24 x 600w lights in groups of 4 with a 25 second delay between each group. The benefit of this is that you do not have a large start up power surge by turning all the lights on at once. This is relevant as a light typically requires about 20% extra ampage to 'start up' as opposed to when they are up and running. In addition to this each of the lights are individually switched from the board so you don't have to have all 24 lights on at once. For example you may want to run just 16 lights during vegetative growth increasing to the full 24 for flowering and fruiting.
Another feature of the Advanced Timer Board is that it has a power failure time delay. That is, if for any reason you experience a power cut the Advanced Timer Board will wait 10 minutes before starting your lights up again. The reason for this is that if your lights have been running for a time and then you suffer a power cut for say 20 seconds you may find without a time delay that your lights won't start up again. This is because (HID) grow lights usually need to cool down before re-starting hence the 10 minute time delay. For you, the grower, this is real peace of mind. Naturally enough being a Timer Board it has an integrated timer. Requires hard wiring to mains circuit and should only be installed by a qualified electrician.
