Vita Link Max Hydroponic Nutrient

SKU# G68

Now and again a special product comes along and this is certainly one! Vita Link Max is suitable for all hydroponic applications and has 3 major advantages over many of the other nutrients on the market. (1) Its supply of phosphorous (important flowering element) is supplied in a more readily available form to plants. This leads to larger flower sizes and increased yields (the holy grail of any gardener!) as well as improved plant health and root structure. (2) The type of phosphorous (phosphites) supplied have been linked to the suppression of fungal attacks and disease, which can often be a problem - especially in the summer months. (3) Vita Link Max has unique cleansing properties. This means less cleaning of tanks for you as well as longer lasting pumps and drip lines. Lots of reasons to at least give it a go.

Using vita link coco as my growing media, in large air pots, would you recommend using vita link coir nutrients? or could I use vita link max? which i'd preferably do thanks

You will get a result with any hydroponic nutrient in coco, but we would recommend using coco specific nutrients, as these are especially formulated to work with coco media
what is the shelf life of vita link max? does it degrade over time?

Written by wayne | 27 Jul 2011

Vita Link Max is a mineral based feed, as long as it is kept in cool, dark conditions it should be fine.
According to the research I can find, ideally a npk of 10.10.10 up to 18.18.18 is the best however I cannot find any supplier with this combination and their nearest appears to be the bloom of Vita link which is at least higher pk than most. Any suggestions please and could I use a bloom nutrient throughout the grow? Regards Derek

Your research seems a little confusing. It could be a specific type of plant that you are referring to, but in general most fruiting plants require more nitrogen in the growth stage versus more phosphorous and potassium in the fruiting/flowering stage. We would not advise using a bloom nutrient throughout your grow, as these formulations will be deficient in nitrogen which your plant will almost certainly need. It may be possible to use GH Flora nutrients to create a feeding regime that matches your needs, but I would strongly advise giving our technical team a call on 0845 345 5176 where we can find out a little more and give you some more specific advice.
