Lti Systemair RVK Extractor Fans

SKU# G42

Good air circulation is an important consideration in any grow room. Made by Lti Systemair of Germany, these RVK range of turbo fans are quiet running, powerful and ideal for connecting to our selection of carbon filters and silencers. Usually an extractor fan is used to bring in fresh air from outside the grow room and another is used to remove stale air from inside the grow room. In some instances, such as smaller set-ups, it is possible to get by with only one extractor which is used to remove (extract) stale air from the grow room whilst fresh air is sucked into the grow room via vents in doors, windows and walls. RVK Systemair extractor fans are suitable whatever method you choose to use and get a full recommendation from us.

when im wiring my fan ,i have got three wires but only 2 connections on my fan which are live and neutral where do i put the earth wire ? the fan is a rvk125e2-a1

Written by DD | 10 Dec 2011

Hi, you would only need to use the live & neutral wires with this fan, it is best to trim the earth wire.
If i only have an input and output hole of 125mm can i use a larger say a 150mm or 200mm fan to increase the volume of air being sucked in/out through that hole or am i stuck with a 125mm fan and filter because of the surface area of the input and output holes?

Written by Andy | 6 Nov 2011

As a general rule, you would want a more powerful output fan than the intake. You could use a larger extractor fan with this setup, & use a reducer to take the output down to a 125mm size.
What is the best way to hang or support the extractor fan in a budbox tent?

Written by Adam | 11 Jun 2011

The easiest way to attach these is by attaching a loop of heavy duty chain to the mounting bracket. There are instructions on both the NFT expert kit page, & the Budbox Basic Kit page on the site.
