These well-built units are a combination of timer and contactor that will safely operate many a number of lights if required, with one designed to turn on up to 16 lights and the other an astonishing 28 lights! Exolux Timerboards send power to your ballasts bank-by-bank – so you avoid big surges – and include trip fuses, power failure time delays and a battery reserve for extra protection. Lights also switch individually meaning you don’t need all of them going at once. Hard wiring to the mains circuit is necessary though, use a qualified electrician. -

Grow Light Timers and Contacors
Almost every grower will want to automate their lighting cycles. Manual switching is possible although it is highly impractical and allows for timing mistakes which could be costly for your plants.
So you will need a high quality timer to control your light cycles with precision and our high quality Grasslin timers are the ideal choice. If you are going to use a timer with a High Intensity grow light then you will need to protect that timer from high start-up currents by using a Timer Contactor. These simple devices insulate your timer from high currents thus ensuring that they cannot get damaged.
A common effect when if you don't use a contactor when using a timer with a HID grow light is that the timer can become damaged and will not switch back off. This can leave your lights on continuously until you next check on them and this can cause havoc with the growth cycle of your plants.
We sell a number of contactors with different power ratings that you can match to your grow room, and we also sell the innovative Exolux Super 6 which combines both timer and contactor for switching up to 6x 600 Watt lights whilst only using two wall plugs.
