Propagation Lighting

Cuttings, seedlings and very young plants have much lower light requirements than established plants. They require a long day light cycle to establish rapid vegetative growth and need light in the blue spectrum to help them establish a strong root system and steady growth before being moved on into your main grow room.

The better you are able to propagate your plants in terms of the their early development, the better they will perform as they reach maturity. You really are building the foundations for your plants future development, so it is essential that you do as well as you can during this stage. Ideally you should use dedicated lighting for your cuttings and seedlings and we have a number of fluorescent grow lights that are absolutely perfect for the job.

The size and type of light you require depends entirely upon the area in which you need to propagate. We have systems that cover anything from a single small propagator right up to dedicated vegetative and propagation tents.
