150mm (6 inch) Cool Shade Lighting Systems

A larger size of the best selling Cool Shade reflector, the larger flow capacity offered by the 150mm (6") diameter allows use with a 150mm (6") Extractor fan for additional cooling. This allows use of this reflector with 1000 Watt lamps as well as increasing the number of reflectors that can be run in series from the same extractor fan. An additional clip on reflector is also supplied with the Cool Shade which improves your spread of light and reduces any light wastage. Multiple Cool Shades can be mounted in series along the same length of 150mm Flexible Aluminium Ducting although we would recommend a maximum of three shades when using an RVK150A1 Extractor Fan.

Effectively a 125mm inline glass tube, the Cool Shade allows you to blow or extract air through the reflector and over your lamp - thus taking the heat away before it can raise the temperature in your grow room. An additional clip on reflector is also supplied with the Cool Shade which improves your spread of light and reduces any light wastage. Complete Grow Lighting Systems
Every High Intensity Discharge (HID) lighting system comprises three component parts: A reflector, a ballast and a lamp. We sell all of these component parts separately, but for both simplicity (and price savings compared to individual components) we sell a wide range of complete lighting systems that include all of these components. We have tried to cover every eventuality in terms of ballast end reflector combination, so every one of our reflectors is available with every one of our ballasts.
The performance benefits that can be achieved by using the best reflectors and ballasts in combination are massive - for example, if used correctly an Adjusta-Shade reflector can massively outperform a standard budget reflector. When you combine this with a digital ballast such as the Lumatek Digital ballast, then you really can obtain significantly better plant performance. Our complete Lighting Systems packages give you the option to couple whatever reflector and ballast you require along with the ever popular Grolux Lamp.
