Fantastic Fluorescent Propagation Light
T5 lighting is the latest development in fluorescent technology that is revolutionising both the commercial strip lighting and now horticultural lighting world. As well as being cheaper to buy, cheaper to replace and cheaper to run than traditional fluorescent tubes, the T5 High Output (T5HO) versions of these lamps are ideal for propagating young plants. With a 24 Watt Output per lamp, these tubes are a lot higher output than the old Visi-Lux tubes and perform much better when it comes to rooting cuttings.
Each complete T5HO unit is supplied with a ballast, T5HO Sunblaster tube, 2 metre power cable and 30cm 'Daisy Chain' Connector. This connector allows you to connect up to 8 T5HO ballasts in series - meaning that you only need the one mains plug and that there aren't loads of cables trailing around your propagation area. Also, unlike many other inferior alternatives, the connection provided is very robust to ensure you get the maximum use of all your lights all the time.
