Microbial is a powerful root treatment which effectively wipes out all bacteria, fungi, algae and viruses present in plant rootzones. By thoroughly cleaning the rootzone of everything except your roots, Microbial is an effective treatment against root pathogens such as pythium. It is extremely potent, eliminating all biological contaminants in the rootzone – including any beneficial bacteria that may be present. A complete flush is performed, so be aware that some good organisms will be removed along with the bad.
