Low heat, low power, high performance
Eco-Lights are market leading high powered compact fluorescent grow lamps (CFL) that can be used as either your primary grow light or as a supplementary light to your main grow light. They are available in both blue and red spectrums for vegetative and flowering growth respectively. They are not as productive as high intensity lights but are cheaper to buy and cheaper to run. No separate ballast is required for these lights, they simply screw into a standard E40 fitting (normal grow light lampholder) and are run directly through a mains plug. We offer both a standard Eco-Light lead and lampholder (an E40 lampholder attached to a mains cord - no reflector) or the Eco-Light reflector (a version of our Hobby reflector that includes a mains lead and E40 lampholder). You do not need to purchase both the reflector and the lead & lampholder. The reflector already includes a lead and lampholder.
There are a number of ways to hang or use your Eco-Lite CFL Lamps. If you simply want to use these lamps as a supplementary light source, then the CFL Lead & Lampholder is a good option, whilst either our CFL Hobby Reflector or Sun Mate Grow CFL Reflector are a better option if these lamps are to be used as the primary light source.
