Water retentive media
Usually mixed with Perlite to create an effective seed and clone raising growing medium. Growers choose to make this combination because Vermiculite holds more water than other alternatives - in fact, when used without another growing medium it proves unsuitable for Hydro-Pot Hydroponics. Also often added to soil.
