Use the unit for managing a room of 10 x 600W lights or 15 x 400W lights - which can be controlled with a Dimlux Maxi Controller.

You can have separate settings for day (lights on) and night (lights off) modes.  

To prevent bud rot (botrytis) and shock, plants are slowly eased into day and night cycle.

To keep pests out, and maximise CO2 efficiency very little air is exchanged. Foul odours and mould are removed, thanks to the internal carbon filter

Your split system includes an outdoor unit and indoor unit. You can fit them up to 15 metres apart. 

The Science

For maximum growth and yields, your plants need a constant, optimum climate all year round.

You can achieve this with an OptiClimate closed loop set up.

Next to no air is exchanged.

This means you reduce carbon dioxide waste, while keeping pests and diseases out

Your grow space will be almost completely sealed off, giving you total control. Your plants will always be growing in their ideal conditions.

Pre-heat function to prevent bud rot

Fruit cools down radically overnight. Every morning, it takes longer to warm up than air does.

This causes condensation to form on the fruit – which can lead to botrytis (bud rot).

Your OptiClimate’s pre-heat function combats the problem.

An hour before your lights come on, your grow room will be heated to the day temperature. This prevents condensation (and therefore bud rot) from forming.

Slow-cool to prevent shock

Abrupt dips in temperature can shock your plants. This stunts their growth.

Your OptiClimate’s slow cool feature reduces your grow room temperature slowly, over the course of an hour.

This way, your plants won’t be shocked

The Tech

Your OptiClimate’s simple to program and use.  

It comes with a handy controller – use it to set your temperature, choose your humidity and activate any optional settings.

Three sensors (a humidistat, a temperature probe and a light sensor) will then constantly take readings from your grow room.

If a discrepancy is detected, your OptiClimate can respond.

Connect your Grow Lights!

Synchronise your OptiClimate to your grow lights with a Dimlux Maxi Controller.

When your lights switch on, day mode is activated. Then your lights switch off, night mode is activated.

Your lights are automatically dimmed if your grow room gets too hot.  This will be recorded in an alarm log, and you’ll get an optional SMS alert.

How to Use

1. Mount the Fan to the front or side of the indoor unit

IF placing the unit in a narrow space or in the ridge of a gable:

• Place the fan outlet on the unit’s shortest side
• You can rotate panels so the fan is on the short side of the unit

2. Fix the indoor unit (make sure it slopes)

• The side with condensation drain should be 1cm lower than the other side
• Use a spirit level if you need to do so

Keep a gap of at least 15cm between:

• The rear of the unit and the wall
• The ceiling and the top of the unit

The bigger the gap the better. The unit cannot make contact with the walls to minimise noises.

IF pendant mounting: Use the rubber mounts supplied with your OptiClimate.

IF mounting to the ground: Replace the rubber mounts with isolator springs to absorb vibration. The unit will automatically fall to the condensation drain.

3. Electrical Connections

Your kit contains:

• A humidistat
• 5 core cable
• Remote terminal
• Temperature sensors

You can connect each of these through an opening at the bottom of the panel.  

The power supply is at the side, led by a black rubber grommet.

4. Alarm Output

On the PCB is an alarm output which makes contact with an alarm when an error has occurred.

A detector can be connected at this contact to alert an alarm system or SMS (GSM) (not supplied).

5. Place the Outdoor Unit

Place the unit in a cool area (such as under a shadow).

Leave enough space around the unit for it to have a good supply of air.  

Connect the outdoor unit to the indoor unit.
