You can cool, heat, dehumidify, filter and circulate air with just one system.  

To keep pests out, and minimise CO2 waste, very little air is exchanged. 

Foul odours and mould are removed by an internal carbon filter.

It’s just what you need to prevent, detect and correct environmental changes

The result? Consistently high yields.

You can synchronise it with 16 x 600W lights or 24 x 400W lights AND CO2 equipment using a Dimlux Maxi Controller.

Your split system includes an outdoor unit and indoor unit. You can fit them up to 15 metres apart. 

The Science

For consistently high yields all year round, plants need stable, optimum growing conditions.

Give them this by creating an OptiClimate closed loop set up.

Your grow space will be almost completely sealed off, so outside influences can’t affect your plants.

You’ll get total control over temperature, humidity, CO2 levels, lighting and more.

Very little air is exchanged, which reduces CO2waste while keeping pests and diseases out

In short, your plants will always be growing in their ideal conditions.


Pre-heat to prevent bud rot

Fruits cool overnight and warm up again each morning.

The problem is, the fruit doesn’t warm up as quickly as air. This causes condensation to form on the fruit’s surface.

As a result, botrytis (bud rot) can begin to form.

To combat this, your OptiClimate has a pre-heat function.

Your grow room will gently be heated to the day temperature an hour before lights come on. This prevents condensation (and therefore bud rot) from forming.


Slow-cool to prevent shock

Sudden temperature drops can shock your plants and stunt their growth.

Your OptiClimate has a slow cool feature that gradually lowers the temperature in your grow room over the course of an hour.

This way, your plants won’t be shocked when lights are switched off and the room becomes colder. 

The Tech

It’s easy to program and use.  

A handy controller’s supplied with your system.

Use it to set your temperature, choose your humidity and activate optional settings.

Your OptiClimate will then constantly monitor your climate using three sensors (a light sensor, temperature probe and humidistat).

Any changes will be detected and corrected.


Connect your Grow Lights!

You can quickly connect your grow lights to the OptiClimate System using a Dimlux Maxi Controller.

Once connected, your lights are used to trigger day mode (lights on) and night mode (lights off).

If your grow room gets too hot, lights will automatically dim down. This will be recorded in an alarm log, and you’ll get an optional SMS alert.

How to Use

1. Mount the fan to the front or side of the indoor unit

IF putting the unit in in the ridge of a gable or a narrow space:

• Make sure the fan is on the unit’s short side
• You can move the fan to the short side by rotating the unit’s panels

2. Mount the indoor unit (make sure it slopes)

• Make sure it slopes, so the side with condensation drain should be 1cm lower
• Use a spirit level if required

The unit cannot make contact with the walls to minimise noises. Keep a gap of at least 15cm between:

• The ceiling and the top of the unit
• The back of the unit and the wall

The bigger the gap the better.

IF pendant mounting: Use the supplied rubber mounts.

IF fixing to the ground: Replace the rubber mounts with isolator springs. These will absorb vibration. Water output will automatically fall to the condensation drain.

3. Electrical Connections

Your kit contains:

• Remote terminal
• A humidistat
• Temperature sensors
• 5 core cable

You can connect each of these through an opening at the bottom of the panel.

The power supply is at the side, led by a black rubber grommet.

4. Alarm Output

There’s an alarm output on the PCB. This makes contact with an alarm when an error has occurred.

A detector can be connected at this contact to alert an alarm system or SMS (GSM) (not supplied).

5. Place the Outdoor Unit

Be sure to leave enough space around the unit for it to have a good supply of air.

Place the unit in a cool area (such as under a shadow).

Connect the outdoor unit to the indoor unit.
